Beau and Lukas —
At the home of Nicole and Michael, friends of a friend whom we'd never met
before, yet still graciously invited us into their home, and practically
into their family. On the floor are their children, Lukas (left) and Beau,
who pretends he's protecting his little brother, but is actually just
preparing to steal Lukas' pacifier for himself.

Panamanian Dancing —
Two couples observe the rituals of indigenous dancing, wherein the man
essentially pleas and begs for the woman's attention, by stomping his feet,
clapping his hands, and offering to hold the back of her dress for
her.
